About the Artist

When I became an artist

I've been an artist since I could hold a brush. I remember loving it at a very young age. In high school I had a fantastic art teacher named Ernie Spurr. He was an amazing support for me. I really wanted to be an artist when I graduated high school but I didn't think I would be able to support myself. So I ended up going to school for interior design and doing interior design/Architecture (aka. Glorified drafter) for 20 years.  I decided to come back to my art.  As any artists I have a lot of frustrations with it but its something that is very deeply me.

I live modestly and enjoy painting every day. There is much joy and peace in my life on a day to day basis.  My art adds to this daily happiness.
